Climate Week NYC 2023
TREUN took part to two ocean-related events as part of Climate Week and following the United Nations General Assembly in New York City with Blue Planet Alliance and Peace Boat.
We were delighted to take part to two events during Climate Week in New York City and immediately after the United Nations General Assembly week (UNGA) this September.
The events had a particular focus on the Oceans as part of our commitments to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, and especially on that occasion SDG14 - Life Below Water and SDG17 - Partnerships for the Goals.
1. “CLIMATE TALKS 2023” by Blue Planet Alliance at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square
2. “SAILING FOR CHANGE” with Peace Boat US at the Manhattan Docks in New York City
TREUN previewed two sustainable fashion collections and ocean-related activations in collaboration with the UN Conscious Fashion and Lifestyle Network: TREUN's new upcoming Legacy Collection, the core luxury line of the brand, and the new Treun House Atelier x Wild Earth Oceania capsule in support of wildlife at risk of extinction, as part of TREUN's "Fashion x Art for Wildlife" Impact Program.
The displays were beautifully framed by an original painting especially created for the events by TREUN’s Resident Artist and world renowned painter Kiril Jeliazkov. The painting featured a whale and baby whale, emphasising the importance of these animals on the health of our oceans and planet and the need to act now for future generations.
